관계대명사 모의고사 수능 패턴

ex1) A hybrid car is a type of vehicle who/ which uses two or more power sources.

        

   => 선행사가 ' a type of vehicle' 인 사물이므로 'which' 가 정답이다.

 

ex2) The gas efficiency of the hybrid car is double that/ what of conventional gasoline-only models.

 

  => 간략히 보면,  < A is double that of B >  ' A는 B의 그것의 두배 이다' 로 해석이 된다. 

        that은  'The gas efficiency' 대신 받는  '대명사' 로 쓰임.

 

ex3) as they burn less fuel and the commpanies what/ that build them tend to be conscious of environment                        pollujtion and make efforts to build cleaner vehicles.

  

 => 관계대명사 what 과 that의 차이점은 선행사 유무 이다.  what은 선행사를 품고 what 자체가 명사자리에 온다. 

       시각적으로 what 앞에는 명사가 존재하지 않는다.
